Something at the Doors
day6
Jacob Equinox and a few survivors of the Tribulation have been trapped inside of an elementary school for two weeks. They have no idea what the foul beings are who stalk them from outside. The cafeteria has run out of food and the fountains have run dry. They must prepare to venture out into the unknown if they plan to survive. Let’s see what’s on their minds

Empty cafeteria

Days are getting drearier

School was once more merrier

There’s something at the door!

Hungry frightened little girl

I have no food left to hurl

Why’d you bring me in this world?

There’s something at the door!

Father keep us in your prayers

Tell us why you look so scared

Aunt Nuntia, back upstairs!

There’s something at the door!

Father Juan

I’ve done nothing, but your will

How dare you forsake me still

There is no more time to kill

I’m feeling so unsure!

I’ve been so darn spiritual

I deserve one miracle

Damn there’s no more cereal

Or rotten milk to pour!

What do I deserve this for

I’ve sheltered sick folks; fed the poor

I can’t take this Anymore

There’s something at the door!

Morg

Father Juan is losing it

Stop it! You’ll confuse the kids

Grab your guns let’s do this sh*t

What are we waiting for?

We don’t know what they look like

For all I know they’re giant mice

Shoot em once and shoot em twice

And leave em on the floor!

Jacob doesn’t seem too scared

Neither does my sister there

Nor this chick with orange hair

Cause she’s a damn Cyborg!

The shadows left. The foot steps stopped

What cha thinking Equinox?

Think we should take off the locks?

There’s nothing at the door.

O’ Top the cyborg

Morg will never show his fear

But my sensors show he’s scared

Though it seems the coast is clear

There’s something at the door...

Freak

Jacob Equinox

Nuntia’s angelic face

Age; it doesn’t show a trace

She believes I’ll keep her safe

She’s told me once before

What’s that symbol on her Skin?

In this photograph she’s in

Guess I’ll ask her later then

Cause now it’s time for war

I will not let fate decide

We all know death lurks outside

Too bad I don’t plan to die

Now… Who wants to live forever?!

The End
